Terms of sale

These terms apply to every purchase from The Brass Estate ("we") at thebrassestate.com. By placing an order you agree to them.

Orders & payment

All prices are shown in USD and include delivery and all import duties and tariffs. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and you receive an order confirmation email. Payment is taken in full at checkout through Razorpay. We may cancel and refund an order if an item is unavailable or a pricing error occurred.

Handmade variation

Our pieces are made by hand from natural materials. Small variations in finish, patina, glass and stone veining are characteristics of the craft, not defects.

Colours can look different from one screen to another, and the dimensions we list are a close guide rather than an exact measurement, as each piece is made by hand. If an exact colour or size matters for your space, message us before you order and we'll confirm it.

Delivery, duties & risk

Delivery is free on every order, by DHL or FedEx express, and typically takes 4–7 business days after dispatch; delivery estimates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. Import duties, tariffs and taxes on delivery are prepaid by us — the recipient has nothing to pay on arrival. Risk passes to you on delivery; every shipment is insured against loss or damage in transit.

Returns & refunds

Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery in original condition and packaging for a refund of the item price. Email us with your order number first so we can send return instructions and our return address. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. Custom-made or personalised items are made specially for you and are not eligible for return or exchange. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the return.

Electrical installation

Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations. We are not liable for damage caused by improper installation.

Liability

Our total liability to you for an order is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law — and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights if a product is faulty or not as described.
